I tell Somali stories — and people keep showing up for them

I started posting in March 2022 with a simple idea: make the kind of stories my own family would sit down and watch together, in our own language. Since then the channel has grown past 1.59 million subscribers and 223 million views, across more than 1,200 films and episodes.

The work splits into two halves. There are the drama serials — multi-part stories like Aargoosi Qoys and Dilaaga Qarsoon that run to millions of views each, built around revenge, family loyalty and the things people keep hidden. And there are the everyday videos: surprises, reunions, the small chaos of real life with people I work with regularly. Both come from the same place. I want you to feel something before the video ends.
